UNCHALLENGED
The 2022 KTM 250 EXC-F SIX DAYS features the smallest engine in the KTM 4-stroke SIX DAYS line up, but make no mistake - this is no flyweight. While it might boast a lightweight chassis, it makes use of an impressive fuel-injected powerplant that offers class-leading performance, buckets of torque, and confidence-inspiring power delivery. Most importantly, however, it gets the job done. The only thing left to say, then, is RACE ON!

DECALS
With the postponement of the Italian 2020 International Six Days Enduro to 2021, the design focusing was shifted from traditionally only featuring the host nation, to showcase the entire world. A mix of playful design, retro colors, and unique design elements of a contemporary world map brings a positive message to the 2022 KTM SIX DAYS models. And, as always, these are applied using in-mold graphics which feature greater friction and fade resistance.

ENGINE
The race-proven and fully adjustable WP XPLOR shock absorber has received a re-tune, with factory settings making it firmer, and new conical bushing between the pistons to improve bottoming reserves. This has resulted in reduced fade and improved wear, taking the PDS rear suspension design even further in its quest for podiums.

CYLINDER HEAD
The KTM 250 EXC-F SIX DAYS engine is fitted with a compact DOHC cylinder head for optimal mass centralization. The head configuration promises efficient power delivery and unrivaled performance. A single overhead camshaft also ensures optimal gas flow, with low-friction rocker arms and timing chain guides guarantee consistent performance throughout the rpm range. The DLC coated finger followers, as well as the lightweight titanium valves they actuate - intake 32.5mm, exhaust 26.5mm -,allow for higher engine speeds.

CYLINDER AND PISTON
Inside the short cylinder, with a bore of 78 mm, thumps a box-type piston made by CP. Its crown geometry is adapted perfectly to the high-compression combustion chamber, where its rigid structure and low weight shine. The compression ratio of 13.8:1 delivers an exceptional engine performance and reduces the risk of engine knocking.

TRANSMISSION
The KTM 250 EXC-F SIX DAYS features a robust 6-speed transmission made by PANKL Racing Systems. The gears are made of a strong, forged raw material, ensuring the highest durability and reliability level. All four-stroke engines are fitted with a gear sensor, giving the option of different engine characteristics for each gear.

EXHAUST
Packing a punch and delivering an unmistakable engine note, all 4-stroke KTM SIX DAYS models feature an easy-access two-piece header pipe that can be disassembled easily to allow access to the rear shock. An aluminum muffler sleeve has a short and compact profile, which also proudly displays the SIX DAYS logo.

ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The state-of-the-art Keihin Engine Management System, with electronic fuel injection, features a 42 mm throttle body with separate systems for cold starting and idle adjustment. The throttle cable mount also allows for easy access and a smooth routing of cables for crisp throttle response, every time.

FRAME
All KTM SIX DAY models feature high-tech, lightweight Chromoly steel frames with race-derived geometry, optimal stiffness, and unparalleled feedback for the rider. This translates into a playful handling character, with remarkable stability at speed. The subframe is made of extra-light and ultra-stable aluminum profiles, weighing less than 900 grams providing rear fender stability and durability in the event of a loop out.

SUSPENSION
For 2022, all KTM EXC models have received a suspension update, with a firmer factory setting focusing on performance and improved consistency across different terrains.

HANDLEBAR
All KTM SIX DAYS models are equipped with adjustable, high-strength aluminum tapered handlebars, that can be mounted in four different positions. Standard with ODI vulcanized grip on the right side and a comfortable ODI lock-on grip on the left, your only worry is hanging on, and letting rip.
